The Gran Bahía Príncipe Resort Cayo Levantado Don Pablo Collection is located on paradisiacal Cayo Levantado island, an island of barely one square kilometre located in the south of Samaná Bay in the Dominican Republic. On the island you'll only find the Resort and a small market.
To leave the island there is free maritime transport with a set timetable or helicopter or private boat service with extra charge.

Surroundings and nature
The hotel is surrounded by vegetation and nature, you can see hundred-year-old trees, tropical vegetation, royal palms, coconut trees, Peruvian flowers, among many others. You'll get to know the traditional ecosystem of the Dominican Republic with the island's specifics.
Watch pelicans plunging into the sea for fish, or the cute hermit crabs or the beautiful humpbacked whales, which you can see from the beach between November and March.

Our impressive Spa is located in the centre of Cayo Levantado island, in paradisiacal natural surroundings. All the treatments and services that you'll find in the Spa are designed for you to eliminate tensions, beautify and pamper your body.
The facilities are hi-tech and are designed in traditional Caribbean style, like the "Palapa" (gazebo) on the beach, where you can relax with a nice massage or get braids done outdoors, in the hands of our professionals, in full contact with nature.
Have fun in the pool
You'll have a great time in our pools. We have 3 pools and one of them has 3 outdoor Jacuzzis. And a children's area that is only 40 cm deep.
One of the pools is located on Honda beach, the edge of the pool blends into the landscape of the beach, the palm trees and the sea.
The Jacuzzis are only for adults and you can enjoy the bubbles in the middle of the island, surrounded by teak hammocks and reed beach umbrellas. Relax and order something at the Flamboyán bar.

Golf lovers can do their favourite sport in a fantastic Golf course 2 hours from the resort. The Playa Grande Golf Course designed by the prestigious architect Robert Trent Jones is one of the area's most famous golf courses.
